In Saturday's non-league test, the Gibault Catholic Hawks (Waterloo, IL) basketball team were winner over the host New Athens Yellow Jackets (New Athens, IL), by a tally of 52-34.

The Hawks now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Belleville West for a non-league bout on Monday, November 24.

With the loss, New Athens falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL) to encounter the Oilers in a non-league test on Monday, November 24. The Oilers come into the test with a record of 1-2. East Alton-Wood River lost 51-46 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL)
