November 24, 2020: Albemarle, NC 28001 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles (Asheboro, NC) and the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), saw Uwharrie Charter Academy's volleyball squad beat Albemarle by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Uwharrie Charter Academy upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to play the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a Yadkin Valley 1A bout on Tuesday, December 1. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the bout with a record of 1-3. South Stanly lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Davidson for a Yadkin Valley 1A bout on Tuesday, December 1. Albemarle will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
