November 24, 2025: Maurice, LA 70555 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) and the visiting Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA), observed North Vermilion's basketball team overwhelm Beau Chene by a score of 48-20.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, St. Thomas More was crushed by Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA), 40-35, in a non-league battle.
The Gators now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaGrange for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 2.
