The Brenham Cubs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Bellaire Cardinals to 53 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cubs now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dayton for a non-league outing on Wednesday, November 26. Brenham will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 54-37 non-league win over Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 4-2.

The Cardinals (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Kountze (Kountze, TX). The Lions enter the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Kountze was nipped by Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 67-37, in a non-league outing.
