November 24, 2025: Idalou, TX 79329 In Monday's non-league test, the Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) basketball team toppled the visiting Liberty Patriots (Lubbock, TX), by a tally of 55-44.
The Wildcats now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Floydada for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. Idalou will play a Whirlwinds team coming off a 53-28 non-league win over Lockney (Lockney, TX). The Whirlwinds record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Liberty moves to 4-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Frenship Memorial (Lubbock, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a 4A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, December 16. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-5.
