November 24, 2025: Whittier, CA 90605 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) and the host La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA), observed Poly's basketball team edge La Serna by a score of 24-21.
The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Garfield was tipped by Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 36-20, in a non-league battle.
The Lancers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Downey for a non-league game on Saturday, December 20.
