In Saturday's non-league outing, the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) basketball squad edged the host Tucson High Magnet School Badgers (Tucson, AZ), by a count of 30-29.

The Scorpions (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Pueblo (Tucson, AZ). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Pueblo was tipped by Canyon View (Waddell, AZ), 58-56, in a non-league outing.
