Mississippi High School Basketball - Itawamba Agricultural can't hold off Alcorn Central
November 25, 2025: Glen, MS 38846 Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS), 47-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Alcorn Central advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Saturday, November 29. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 3-1. Wayne County lost 75-56 in their recent non-league contest against Summertown (Summertown, TN)
In their next game, the Indians battle the Belmont Cardinals (Belmont, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 2. Itawamba Agricultural will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 42-34 non-league win over Hatley (Amory, MS).
