Tennessee High School Basketball - Coalfield knocks off Notre Dame
November 25, 2025: Chattanooga, TN 37404 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Coalfield Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a good 66-56 win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The Yellow Jackets (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Knoxville Catholic thwarted McMinn County (Athens, TN), 78-58, in a non-league match.
The Fighting Irish now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baylor for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2.
