Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), 66-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Greenwood upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Socorro (El Paso, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Socorro lost 65-49 in their recent league bout against Franklin (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Steers play the Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Big Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 54-35 non-league win over Seagraves (Seagraves, TX).
