The Weddington Warriors felled the visiting Independence Patriots football squad by a margin of 21-6 in Friday's non-league test.

The Warriors now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grimsley for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 5. Weddington will face a Whirlies team coming off a 24-7 non-league win over Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 13-0.
