Indiana High School Basketball - Franklin Community holds off Center Grove
November 29, 2022: Franklin, IN 46131 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) and the visiting Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN), saw Franklin Community's basketball squad hold off Center Grove by a tally of 38-34.
With the victory, Franklin Community improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Grizzly Cubs host Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN) to confront the Hawks in a Mid-State challenge on Friday, December 2. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Decatur Central won 59-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 1. Center Grove will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 52-37 non-league win over Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN).
