Maryland High School Basketball - Gonzaga overwhelms Loyola Blakefield
November 30, 2019: Towson, MD 21204 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) and the host Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD), saw Gonzaga's basketball squad wallop Loyola Blakefield by a count of 76-44.
With the victory, Gonzaga upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD) to play the Falcons in a Washington Catholic challenge on Wednesday, December 4. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Dons play the Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD) in a MIAA A - Black challenge, on Friday, December 6. Loyola Blakefield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
