Texas High School Basketball - Celeste crushes Christ the King Cathedral
November 30, 2023: Celeste, TX 75423 Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions (Lubbock, TX), 56-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Celeste upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX) to clash with the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Lone Oak won 56-36 in their recent non-league bout against Community (Nevada, TX)
Next up, the Golden Lions clash with the Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Christ the King Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 50-35 non-league win over Celeste (Celeste, TX).
