Georgia High School Basketball - Holy Innocents Episcopal fells Newton

The Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Newton Rams to 48 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Golden Bears now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to KIPP Atlanta Collegiate for a AA Region 5 game on Tuesday, December 3. Holy Innocents Episcopal will confront a Warriors team coming off a 85-77 non-league win over Westminster (Atlanta, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Newton falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA) to confront the Comets in a AAAAAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, December 3. The Comets go into the game with a record of 6-0. South Gwinnett won 85-82 in their recent non-league game against Dacula (Dacula, GA)
