Chatham HomeSchool Thunder (Pittsboro, NC) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC), 40-18 in a non-league contest.

The Thunder (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Southview Christian Conquerors (Statesville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 10. Union Grove Christian will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
