Wisconsin High School Basketball - Mineral Point crushes New Glarus
December 1, 2023: Mineral Point, WI 53565 Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI), 73-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mineral Point upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pointers host River Valley (Spring Green, WI) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. River Valley won 58-29 in their recent non-league bout against Fennimore (Fennimore, WI)
Next up, the Glarner Knights play the Lodi Blue Devils (Lodi, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. New Glarus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 57-40 non-league win over Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI).
