Illinois High School Basketball - Nazareth Academy trounces Peoria
December 4, 2021: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Peoria Lions (Peoria, IL), 54-32 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Roadrunners (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Oswego East was trounced by Minooka (Minooka, IL), 53-42, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Richwoods for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 7. Peoria will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 42-20 league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Knights record now stands at 1-5.
