Wisconsin High School Basketball - Belmont knocked off by Cuba City
December 4, 2023: Belmont, WI 53510 The Cuba City Cubans basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Belmont Braves to 47 in the Cubans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cubans now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fennimore for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest on Tuesday, December 5. Cuba City will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 73-45 non-league win over River Valley (Spring Green, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
The Braves (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against River Ridge (Patch Grove, WI). The Timberwolves enter the Six Rivers - West contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, River Ridge ran past Riverdale (Muscoda, WI), 53-40, in a non-league contest.
