Texas High School Basketball - Timber Creek holds off Richland

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Timber Creek Falcons basketball team scored a close 29-26 triumph over the Richland Royals.

The Falcons (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Bengals go into the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Braswell nipped Keller (Keller, TX), 56-23, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Royals confront the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Richland will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Buffalos go into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 47-44 non-league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX).
