Arkansas High School Basketball - England crushes Jacksonville Lighthouse
December 7, 2022: Jacksonville, AR England Lions (England, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Jacksonville Lighthouse Wolves (Jacksonville, AR), 76-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, England upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR) to play the Red Devils in a 2A Region 5 bout on Saturday, December 10. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Mountain Pine lost 63-43 in their recent league bout against Conway Christian (Conway, AR)
Next up, the Wolves play the Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Jacksonville Lighthouse will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 45-36 league loss to Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR).
