The Knightstown Panthers basketball team (Knightstown, IN), was nudged 45-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN)

The Vikings now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cowan for a Mid-Eastern battle on Friday, December 8. Blue River Valley will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 48-37 non-league win over Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-6.

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Union City (Union City, IN). The Indians come into the Tri-Eastern battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Union City edged Centerville (Centerville, IN), 53-42, in a league battle.
