The Holly Springs Golden Hawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Middle Creek Mustangs to 54 in the Golden Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apex Friendship for a 4A Conference 29 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Holly Springs will meet a Patriots team coming off a 63-25 league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.

The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Green Level (Cary, NC). The Gators enter the 4A Conference 29 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Green Level nudged Cary (Cary, NC), 37-34, in a league contest.
