Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Galena Bears (Galena, MO) and the visiting Sarcoxie Bears (Sarcoxie, MO), saw Galena's basketball squad wallop Sarcoxie by a tally of 71-36.

With the victory, Galena improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears host Spokane (Spokane, MO) to confront the Owls in a Southwest Central challenge on Tuesday, January 26. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Bears confront the Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers (Joplin, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 3. Sarcoxie will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
