December 1, 2021: Independence, OR 97351 The Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR) basketball nipped the host Central Panthers (Independence, OR), 52-48 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Techmen (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Mavericks go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Mountainside got by South Albany (Albany, OR), 69-26, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Cascade for a non-league test on Friday, December 3. Central will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 65-37 non-league win over North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
