The Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) basketball nipped the host Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ), 52-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Scorpions (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Canyon View got by Kellis (Glendale, AZ), 74-52, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Mingus for a 4A Grand Canyon test on Friday, December 3. Flagstaff will encounter a Marauders squad coming off a 65-44 non-league loss to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Marauders record now stands at 0-3.
