New Mexico High School Basketball - Mesa Vista overwhelms Coronado
December 1, 2022: Ojo Caliente, NM 87549 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM) and the visiting Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM), saw Mesa Vista's basketball squad wallop Coronado by a tally of 90-23.
With the victory, Mesa Vista improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Dulce (Dulce, NM) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Dulce won 84-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM)
Next up, the Leopards confront the Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 68-66 non-league loss to Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM).
