Texas High School Basketball - Wylie nips Aledo
December 1, 2023: Aledo, TX 76008 Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX), 46-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wylie upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Coronado (El Paso, TX) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Coronado won 32-23 in their recent non-league bout against Cooper (Abilene, TX)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Aledo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 32-23 non-league loss to Coronado (El Paso, TX).
