December 1, 2023: Westside, IA 51467 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) and the host Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), saw West Harrison's basketball squad overcome Ar-We-Va by a tally of 62-44.
With the victory, West Harrison improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Hawkeyes travel to Tri-Center (Neola, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Tri-Center won 60-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA)
Next up, the Rockets play the Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA) in a Rolling Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Ar-We-Va will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 57-20 league loss to Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA).
