December 1, 2023: Zuni, NM 87327 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM) and the visiting Dulce Hawks (Dulce, NM), saw Zuni's basketball squad hold off Dulce by a tally of 45-44.
With the victory, Zuni improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Sartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. St. Pius X won 65-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
Next up, the Hawks play the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Dulce will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 65-42 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
