Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN), 51-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lafayette Central Catholic upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 12. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Cathedral won 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Taylor Titans (Kokomo, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 11. Northwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
