December 10, 2022: Siren, WI 54872 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Washburn Castle Guards (Washburn, WI) basketball squad edged the host Siren Dragons (Siren, WI), by a count of 56-50.
The Castle Guards (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mellen (Mellen, WI). The Granite Diggers go into the Indianhead outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Mellen held off South Shore (Port Wing, WI), 68-55, in a league outing.
The Dragons now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Lake for a Lakeland - West outing on Tuesday, December 13. Siren will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 65-54 non-league win over Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
