San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX), 48-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, San Saba upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Armadillos travel to Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Mineral Wells lost 48-34 in their recent non-league bout against International Leadership of Texas Keller (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Menard Yellowjackets (Menard, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Blanco will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 31-27 non-league loss to Water Valley (Water Valley, TX).
