December 10, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79407 Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX), 49-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Panhandle advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX) to meet the Broncos in a 2A Region I District 2 match on Friday, December 13. The Broncos enter the match with a record of 13-3. Clarendon lost 58-51 in their recent non-league match against Seminole (Seminole, TX)
The Eagles now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vernon for a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. Lubbock Christian will meet a Lions squad coming off a 45-31 league win over Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX). The Lions record now stands at 9-3.
