The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wildwood Wildcats (Wildwood, FL) and the host Gainesville Hurricanes (Gainesville, FL), observed Wildwood's basketball team overwhelm Gainesville by a score of 77-47.

The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Leesburg (Leesburg, FL). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Leesburg was crushed by Springstead (Spring Hill, FL), 46-32, in a league battle.

The Hurricanes now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buchholz for a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. Gainesville will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 65-45 non-league win over Trenton (Trenton, FL). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-3.
