The Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), 51-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (9-0) will now prepare for their test against York (Elmhurst, IL). The Dukes go into the West Suburban - Silver test with a 4-2 record.
The Hawks now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban test on Tuesday, December 14. Hillcrest will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 52-45 league loss to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-5.
