The Floyd Central Highlanders basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Silver Creek Dragons to 45 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Highlanders now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Knox for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Floyd Central will play a Warriors team coming off a 45-34 league loss to South Knox (Vincennes, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Silver Creek falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN) to clash with the Warriors in a Mid-Southern test on Tuesday, December 16.
