New Mexico High School Basketball - Menaul tops Laguna Acoma
December 12, 2023: New Laguna, NM 87007 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM), saw Menaul's basketball squad knock off Laguna Acoma by a count of 73-61.
With the victory, Menaul upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to play the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Roswell won 80-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM)
Next up, the Hawks play the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Laguna Acoma will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Steers come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 67-17 non-league win over Tatum (Tatum, NM).
