The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs to 53 in the Mountain Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mountain Lions now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Cibola for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Mountain Ridge will confront a Raiders team coming off a 75-55 non-league loss to Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ). The Raiders record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Corona del Sol falls to 1-7 on the year. The Aztecs travel to Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league match on Friday, December 13.
