The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ) and the host Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ), observed Fort Thomas's basketball team knock off Valley by a score of 60-44.

The Apaches (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Ridge (Lakeside, AZ). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Blue Ridge was knocked off by Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ), 61-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates encounter the St. Johns Redskins (St. Johns, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
