The May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) basketball toppled the visiting Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC), 58-42 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Sharks now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hilton Head Christian Academy for a non-league test on Monday, December 15. May River will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 86-57 non-league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.

The Buccaneers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Hardeeville (Hardeeville, SC). The Hurricanes come into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Hardeeville went down by Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA), 73-33, in a non-league test.
