In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Riverside Vikings basketball team scored a good 62-48 triumph over the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack.

The Vikings (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Scranton notched a victory over Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 43-34, in a non-league match.

The Wolfpack now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shamokin Area for a non-league match on Monday, December 15. Wilkes-Barre will face a Indians squad coming off a 75-68 non-league win over Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The Indians record now stands at 2-2.
