Arizona High School Basketball - Liberty beaten by Sunrise Mountain

December 12, 2025: Peoria, AZ 85383

The Sunrise Mountain Mustangs were victorious over the host Liberty Lions basketball squad by a final score of 55-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Mustangs face the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Monday, December 15. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the outing with a 5-4 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Cibola (Yuma, AZ).

The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Willow Canyon ran past North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ), 57-17, in a non-league outing.
