The Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball crushed the host Madison Highland Prep Heat (Phoenix, AZ), 56-12 in Friday's league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chandler Prep for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 18. Rancho Solano Prep will play a Titans team coming off a 45-32 non-league loss to Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Madison Highland Prep falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Heat host Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Eagles in a 2A Central challenge on Monday, December 15. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Scottsdale Christian Academy won 52-11 in their recent league challenge against Red Rock (Sedona, AZ)
