Texas High School Basketball - Skidmore-Tynan routs Premont
December 12, 2025: Skidmore, TX 78389 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats basketball team scored a big 53-21 win over the Premont Cowboys.
The Bobcats (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Refugio (Refugio, TX). The Bobcats come into the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Refugio was trounced by Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX), 33-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cowboys battle the Ben Bolt Badgers (Ben Bolt, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 32 match, on Tuesday, December 16. Premont will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Badgers enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 41-33 non-league win over Charlotte (Charlotte, TX).
