The Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA), 70-57 in Monday's league test.

The Hilltoppers (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Lancers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Rustburg for a Seminole test on Thursday, December 16. Amherst County will encounter a Devils squad coming off a 57-46 league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Devils record now stands at 3-4.
