Washington High School Basketball - Anacortes overwhelms Ferndale
December 13, 2021: Anacortes, WA 98221 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) and the visiting Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA), saw Anacortes's basketball squad wallop Ferndale by a tally of 60-34.
With the victory, Anacortes improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 16. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Burlington-Edison lost 51-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Sehome (Bellingham, WA)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Lake Stevens Vikings (Lake Stevens, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 18. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 44-43 non-league win over Blaine (Blaine, WA).
