Massachusetts High School Basketball - Charlestown tops East Boston
December 13, 2023: Charlestown, MA 02129 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Charlestown Townies (Charlestown, MA) and the visiting East Boston Jets (East Boston, MA), saw Charlestown's basketball squad knock off East Boston by a count of 60-41.
With the victory, Charlestown upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Townies travel to Bishop Connolly (Fall River, MA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Jets play the Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. East Boston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 44-42 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, MA).
