The Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Florence Gophers to 11 in the Golden Hawks non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arizona College Prep for a bout on Thursday, December 14. Desert Sunrise will play a Knights squad coming off a 39-20 non-league win over Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.

Next up, the Gophers play the Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
