In Friday's league contest, the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves basketball team scored a big 79-58 triumph over the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals.

The Red Wolves (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (Chicago, IL). The Pumas go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Johnson was trounced by Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL), 49-46, in a league contest.
